it connects to a plastic hose that comes from the throttle body and then it connects to the right side valve cover
family ford ordered 2 hoses for me that looked nothing like this and then i checked at a salvage yard and no luck there either.

use a piece of pcv hose from a local parts store, that piece collapses anyway from oil getting in it.

Hey man, register on TorqueAddicts.net, someone on there should have one local. I don't have any laying around...well I say I don't, I'll look around tonight, I have an extra throttle body, plenum, and a few other GT parts laying in the closet.

Yeah, just get some hose from autozone or something and run that. I have that hose at home, but I cut one end off it so it won't help you at all. I picked up a 2' piece of hose from o'reilly's and cut to size for my application...do the same. It will only be a couple bucks.

that hose has a bad habit of collapsing when it gets oil in it because it doesent have nylon reinforcement.its actually better to get regular pcv hose from a parts store.

well the car has a hose on it from the parts store right now. the car doesn't seem to idle right with that hose on there. i did see one engine at a scrap yard here and it had an all plastic hose for the one i needed. i guess ford changed the design on it.

It may not be the hose....or it may be there is a leak in the hose connections. A hose is a hose is a hose...it shouldn't cause/prevent any idle issues unless there is a leak somewhere in a connection.

it's a strange deal. i never noticed the crack in that hose until i was changing the plugs a few weeks ago. we heard a small hissing sound and saw the crack in the hose. the car ran fine though and it didn't idle funny until i put the other hose on. we even tried to use hose clamps but that really made it run like shit. now it seems to be doing ok for now except for the funny idle. i keep an eye on it every now and then. once you start the car the rpms go up and down a little bit but then it will stay at around 800 for a while.

ur having vacume problems, use the hose clamps again and take a can of carb cleaner with a straw and spray in different areas, if it idles up, check that area for a vaccume leak.
