Sold.
And bought - 08 Black Mazda 3 i (new) for a pretty good deal at a low interest rate too
23 city 31 highway but I heard its underrated.
Picking it up Saturday morning.
I will miss RWD, but for financial reasons (both gas and insurance) and a few other minor reasons (weather, lots of upcoming travel, etc), I believe this is the best move for the time being. It'll free up the wallet for savings for rings, houses, and start up costs for the apartment.

Either when:
A. Insurance cost goes down (I'm still 22 and have a speeding ticket)
B. Gas prices go down (pff)
C. I obtain a large sum of money (donations welcome)
Hopefully all three will happen haha

I'm 22 as well and it only costs me 115 a month to insure 2 vehicles, full coverage on the 03 cobra convertible. It only went up 10 bucks from my 02 V6 coupe.

I'm 21 and my insurance is only $124/month with near max coverange and $50 deductibles. I love USAA insurance mwa ha ha ha. Sorry about getting rid of the 'stang though. At least Mazda is still part of Ford Motor Company and you can mod it a bit.

Nice man you will be happy with the 3. I have a friend with one like it with the 2.0/5spd and that thing gets 30mpg or better avg. Once the truck is paid off I will probably get me one.

what about......
D. Badass deal on Fox comes along
?
btw i was offered my payoff for my Cobra this week. im considering it, knowing once my GSX runs the cobra will be pretty much sidelined, and im looking into getting a truck that should help me on insurance and a smaller payment (looking to spend under 15k) or possibly a lease, since me and cars seem to part after 1-2 years.

haha yeah, theres that one too.
i will most definitely keep my eye open for a second car. the way i see it, i have a DD for many years to come. the weekend car is an investment to happen in the near future. i'm planning on getting one when i turn 25. hell, my gf's dad is nearing the retirement age and he has an old jaguar, model t (29), stingray corvette, etc... hopefully he will feel generous to a son and law (assuming we get married soon haha).
i will probably throw on a CAI simply for gas mileage... i'm going to try to contain myself on the mods. maybe some tint if im feeling frivolous. its not that fast of a car and i don't intend on trying to make it fast. it is, however, a pretty peppy car for what it is.

I dont think I could go mustangless unless i had no choice. I would pick up a DD older car that gets me from point a to b and keep the stang.

Amen to that. My girl can have the sensible car. I don't want a Mustang car, I need one, lol.

Well just in case you decide you want exhaust on that car. I know of one kit that doesn't sound ricey at all. It's called Corksport you can look it up on youtube. I'm not a big fan of exhaust on a 4banger, but that actually sounds have decent.

I think you need to sit back and make up your mind about whether or not you want this car. You bought it, sold it, bought it back already....now you're thinking about selling it again for the payoff?
I think it is time to do some serious thinking about it...or it is going to cost you a lot of money constantly buying the car back every few months.

As scary as it is I actually agree lol. Either you keep it or you sell it and be done. Your wasting way to much money on cars that could have gone towards a house.

I think I could go mustangless but I could not go hotrodless, however I will admit it would be quite strange to have a hotrod with another symbol on it.
