99-04 Mustang Speed Volume Control on Mach 460

Ive heard that if you push and hold the power button on 99-04 you get the menu and can turn it from 0-7 to set how much it lowers/raises the sound as you speed up. Someone care to give this a try?
Its only on the mach 460 so it seems.

you may have to do that when you turn the car on, cuz if you do it with already running, i believe it turns the volume off? not to sure, the tC has a feature built in already for that.

Yeah it works. I use it. You just push and hold the power button then use the select buttons to adjust between 0-7. If you let go too soon it turns the unit off.

yup i use it daily to counteract the volume of the exhaust, its actually a very nice feature

Hm...I didn't know you could do this. I'll have to give it a try sometime. I don't listen to the radio too much though.

hold the trip button while the car is on but not cranked and wait and the diagnostics will come on, then you can crank the car and toggle through them.
