Help after dyno run

Well I went to the dyno yesterday, and I installed a 4.2 kit about 2 weeks ago. I also installed some new big valved heads, shorty headers, a SPEC clutch, new flywheel and an adjustable clutch cable. The car definately has more power and you can feel it, but not like it's suppose to. I was expecting to get over 200 rwhp and atleast 240 tq. But to my surprise I only got up to 165 rwhp and 215 rwtq. I first thought my pushrods were too short and I was losing lift and duration on my cam. So I changed out the pushrods and now it still feels the same power wise. I'm attaching my dyno sheets and dyno info. Any ideas let me know, and as for my mods, just click on my link for my homepage. I am assuming you have a built 4.2, meaning P&P heads intake ECT?

You can always get an O/R H-Pipe and see if that fixes it.

damn...same #'s as me (I have problems as well).

I wonder if we have something similar going on.

I'd say get an adjustable length checker PR or
go to the adj. 1.8's we talked about. Justin Agee
had similar problems and did the exact same
thing but on a split port. (4.2 crank, etc. and BV heads)
He's having intake troubles (too small) as well.


A real tune would go a long way towards getting the HP too, Rob.

Yeah, I was thinking that too, and also I forgot to ask about the timing. Is the timing the same on the 4.2 as the 3.8? Maybe I need a 4.2 computer??? :-?
