if the stang replacement market was better it would be possible to make your money back on a partout.
we just parted out a 97 GST Spyder, down to bare chassis and made roughly 7k off it, my buddy only spent 3200$ on it and still gave away a shep tranny to another good local that needed it, which is easily 1200$ in itself. Its possible to make a bit of side profit with partouts if you have the time, room and patience for such an undertaking. hell, within 15 minutes of posting the partout we had buyers for the entire driveline, the convertible top, half the interior, most of the fenders, bumper, sideskirts, suspension, etc. took about another 3 weeks to sell the rest of it, and the chassis went for even 250$ to someone with a wrecked spyder and a gsx coupe that was going to do an awd spyder conversion, taking the coupe drivetrain and the wrecked spyder everything else and putting it on the parted chassis.
however i dont see $13k worth of parts in there, even going down to the chassis. plus there isnt really a market for needing miscellaneous shit for 05+'s like there is people needing random dsm parts. most people would still go to the stealership for such items, whereas Mitsu has phased out 1g parts and is already phasing out 2g stuff.

in the near future, imma buy a v6 body and do a gt swap in it with a turbo, imma build the baddest hot pink s197 in existence. i already have the tranny, engine, wiring harness and ecm. just need a good body/interior.

hahaha^ i think u are...I've found better deals at the man we got my car from up in Virginia. he's supper nice and if he sees yur a pretty good guy/girl he may negotiate with u on the price. My car was a steal though considering what needed to be fixed. Maybe ya'll've heard of him...
Flood Cars, Theft Recovery Vehicles, Salvage, Repairable, Flood Vehicles
he has wrecks and floods, most of the floods are low floods so u actually don't have to do anything to them or than a nice interior cleaning.
