and when we ran from the light, he pulled me out the dig i, i go to 1-2 shift, stupidness with the clutch throw me in neutral, and hit rev limiter, gabe slows down to see wtf the loud popping was, finally get my ass back into 2nd, come up next to gabe, we both smash, and it was neck and neck.
For those of you who don't know my clutch situation:
A.) Cable is splitting so:
1.) 1-2 shift, is total shit, it clicks like your in second, then you have to push 10x's harder to throw in 2nd.
2.) 2-3 shift is eh... somewhat alright
3.) 3-4 shift is buttuh baby
4.) 4-5 is total shit
5.) reverse ... you have to take a mallet to it

nice. the sound of a v8 and a blower is prob worth $4 at the pump haha.
its 3.99 up here in PA. i heard speculation of it rising rapidly over the next week or so to around $5.

Hey Jarod, can you check the shop for:
a.) that god damn cable for my clutch
b.) bushing for steering column
c.) a gauge pod for my boost guage my buddy gave me yesterday. can be mounted anywhere, no preference

Actually, to get into reverse, you have to press the clutch to the floor, then press with your big to to push it just a little further....then it goes in smooth as silk. At least, that's how I managed to get it in reverse all the times I drove it.

i dont have a cable, i have a a pillar pod and a dash pod for around the guages, both hold 2 guages.i think we have a whole steering column but imma have to see if benjy is using it for our mod motor fox, i think he is.

My statement is right though right Jarrod? It's the knuckle that is shot being a stock one and all and it needs to be replaced which is what is causing the excessive play in the steering wheel.
I say just get the manual rack and the manual steering column. |
