I have a 2005 Mustang, V-6 model. I knocked my passenger mirror off and have two questions:
1. Who is the reliable internet parts dealer to order the new mirror from?
2. It looks like it attaches with three screws which go thru the door from the inside by the window. However, this is covered by a trim piece inside which may or may not be attached to the door panel. How do I remove this interior piece to reach the screws in order to attach the mirror?

You need to take that trim piece off the inside of the door. I haven't done a mustang mirror yet, but I can tell you that usually you need to take the whole inner door panel off to get that little triangle of plastic loose. There should be a screw behind that door handle on the inside, maybe one more near the door pocket at the bottom. Really most doors are just snap together for the most part.
Does anyone else know the exact locations of the hold down parts for this guy?
Horse, thanks, I actually found a website with detailed instructions on removing the door panel, but wasn't sure I needed to do so. From your post, I see that I do! Thanks for the help.
