dude, i beat a 350z vert last night..........i pulled up next to a cute little chick with her top down. we played on bluebonnet a couple times, i slowly pulled her every time we got on it. i told her she hung good with me, then she said her ex bf had a blue/white roush. couldnt get back on side of her to ask if she wanted to go shoot pool with me.....oh well, at least i won.

could be better but the mustang wasnt stock.
I know that my car stock was capible of 15.0 fastest i got it to was a 15.2, I hear the stock auto jetta's are good for about 15.5, 15.6 if not ragged out. 15.7, 15.8 on a hot day. I know I ran mine to a 14.6 with intake, turboback, diverter valve and tune pushing 21psi on stock turbo, And i suck at drag racing.

I raced a 1.8t Jetta at the track once when my 5-speed 2000 3.8 was slower than stock (17's).
At the end of the track, he was a car length or so ahead, but he had actually left before me.
So, I talk to him after we pick up our timeslips and he said, "Man, how'd I beat your V8!"
So, I said... what did you run? He says 15.6, and I say...
Well, then... actually you LOST to a V6. I ran 15.5.
____
So, that being said, I MAY have raced the 150hp version (he had a couple mods), so the 180hp version should be a little faster.
Either way, it's worth a shot... at the track.

Now please everyone dont verbally kill me at once after i say this.
When i was younger and dumber (16), i raced a stock 1.8T on the street (i was stupid to do so) and beat it to the next light. I didn't beat him by lengths, but i was a good half a car or so ahead and pulling. We were both autos, and i only had exhaust. Now i don't know if i just got lucky or if his car had a bad run. My car seems faster than the average 3.8 by around me though. I did beat a heavily modded thunderbird though, but then they are heavy f**kers.
