I want to buy a Mustang HELP!!!

Ok so i went to my local ford dealership today and i found the mustang that i want it's a sweet V-6 metallic Blue manual transmission Mustang nothing to fleshy (YET) but my mom is riding my case:

It's to small
Ford makes sorry cars
Ford this Ford that

So please help me gather some facts and data about the Mustang defending it to present to her on Monday so i can live peacefully and get my pony next week.

1) In a recent study Ford's reliability has equaled that to Toyota's.
2) The '07 (I believe that year) Convertible was the only car in it's class to receive a 4 star safety crash rating.
3) You are purchasing an American car, and Ford is one of the oldest car makers still in business today, so they must be doing something right.
4) The mustang is an American legacy and the name Mustang has been in use since the very first model rolled of production lines in 1964, it is also one of the best selling cars of all time.

I'm sure there are many great reasons that completely over shadow mine. These other guys will surely give them.
