Well my wife and parents split the cost and got me this for my bday/fathers day
can't really read it, but it is on remote play...one of the coolest features of it IMO

the PS3 OS displayed on the PSP

streaming a music video from the PS3, which is actually pulling it off my computer
I love the thing. Be nice for when I go out a town especially...no more dragging the PS3 around all the time with me.

I got one back a month after they just came out. I was flying to Boston and I needed something to kill time. Watch movies, listen to music, play games on. Works great, love it. No complaints at all on it, I even love the battery life on it. And I highly recommend getting a Logitech hard case for it, they are pretty cheap. I also recommend a car charger, and an extended battery so you can play for even longer.
Games I have : Wipeout, Monster Hunter, Monster Hunter 2, and something else.. I can't remember off the top of my head.. oh yeah Hot Shots golf. I thought at first it was lame, but I got really addicted to it!
Moves I own: Sin City, Pirates of the Caribbean, Kill Bill, Terminator 2, and a few others I can't remember.
My brother has Snatch and a Need for Speed game.. oh and some ATV game that came with it for free.
Monster Hunter is an awesome game though, especially playing in multiplayer.

I plan to figure out how to transfer the digital copies that DVDs and Blu-Rays are coming with lately to a memory stick to watch those...I hate the idea of buying a movie twice.

I understand what you mean, however you are watching a movie on a small LCD screen that I doubt is even 720. If it is, then I'll be damned. But I know for sure it isn't 1080. It has great quality on it's own and Frys is desperately trying to get rid of their UMD selection of movies for dirt cheap. My brother bought a few movies for 5 bucks a pop.
Unfortunately though, after I got an iPod Video I transfered my music and videos over to my iPod. Now my PSP is for gaming and internet only, that is until I get an iPod Touch, then it'll be just for gaming lol
I know you can get the larger memory sticks and put hacked games onto them. This way you can just switch over to other games using an emulator.

dont have a fry's here....prices like that i would get some, otherwise not worth it.
I have a Zune I use for music. Haven't used it for movies but the screen which is large for a MP3 player is still small. The PSP has a bigger screen and it is a lot lighter and easier to transport then my portable dvd player and a few dvds.
But yeah it is mostly for playing some games when I am on the road....Easier then dragging the PS3 around with me, especially when it will only be for 3-4 days.

the combo pack I got was $200.
Came with the ice silver psp slim
Daxter
Family Guy collection
1Gb mem stick pro duo
the God of War pack is also $200 and come with
Red PSP Slim with image of Kratos on back
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Superbad
or just the PSP for $160
the combos are the best deal, one game and a movie, I chose Daxter one for 2 reasons, I dont really like the look of the red PSP and it also came with the mem stick.
now if only I can figure out how to put a damn movie on the PSP. Got a digital copy of Rambo that I keep trying to put on it.

My Bro has mine. He needed something to do for the overnights at the firehouse, ya' know instead of dispatching or working.
