where can i find a cowl hood for my 82 gt!?

OK..so i CAN NOT find a cowl hood for my 82 GT 5.0, for the 87-93 i can find everything under the sun... but not a single hood for my 82...

what exactly is the dif' from the early to the late model? can it be made to fit with minor mods? or can i buy an early model FB cowl hood somewhere on this earth!?
