Figured my setup out...

i finally figured out the setup i wanna run when i build this 5.0

im keeping the stock heads, but im gonna port em to hell, and unshroud the valves, and run trick flow springs, then pick up a trick flow #1 cam, im gonna try to run some long tube headers if they clear the shifter, and probably grab an intake manifold off of ebay, one of those edelbrock wannabe's

if i do a good job on the heads, i could probably see 275-300hp at the flywheel, and maybe about 350-360ftlbs or torque

any input?

HP will be closer to torque, 1 HP/ci is not hard with stock 5.0 heads...
I got ~55% increase in exhaust flow on a D8 (junkiest 5.0 heads ever)
with the stock valves... I have a die grinder and porting stuff FS
if U need something to port it with.

I can also help you with porting those babies, I cut my teeth on 5.0 stuff!
