Ok i finally got my Mustang and i want to run Duals on it, one problem My local muffler shop told me i would need to get the GT bumper with dual muffler outlets to run duals on my car. Is that true? can you run duals without the dual outlets. Any suggestions? or should i just one the single?
Any guidance will be highly appreciated

You can very easily have the tips ran under the bumper. Just make sure they angle the tips upward or it just looks weird.

The shop that did mine matched the stock exhaust pipe. So my duals out the back look like the single stock one but there's 2 of them

It would probably look better with a GT bumper but its not needed. I didnt have one when I got duels on my old v6. Sounds like that guy is just trying to squeeze an extra couple hundred bucks out of you

You shouldnt ever have to modify the body of any car just for an exhaust, it bends for a reason . I think it looks fine without the GT rear bumper. Seems cleaner to me.

What year is your Mustang?
If it's an 05+ V6, then you really ought to get a GT bumper with dual cut-outs because the v6 rear bumper comes with a single cut-out on the right side...
For other model years that don't have any rear bumper cutouts at all, running the tips below the stock bumper will work just fine as LowFlyn stated above...

O...well that changes things...it is gonna look quite silly with only one exhaust cutout...

yeah i'm gettin a gt bumper for mine. i don't really like the v6 bumpers anyway, too plain, and rectangular unless u have a stripe going down it, which that will soon be added to mine as well. lol

the left side of My gut say F it buy the bumper, right side says don't drop that much just for a bumper to have a cool dual exhaust look to the back end of my car that i will never see unless i'm washing it so right now RIGHT side is winning 70-30 I'll let em battle it out over the weekend and declare a winner Monday

Have your exhaust dumped before the bumper so no tips show out the back until you get the dough together for the GT bumper...then you can get it to come out the back later.

Yes, I agree with PV...just "dump the exhaust" somewhere where it cant be seen and worry about the tips later..
