Welcome.
MGW LTD., INC. - CNC Machined and Turned Parts. Accessories for the Corvette, Mustang, and Viper .... sole option for shifter....period...end of story.
It will take the shot of nitrous, just make sure you don't get any pooling or it will effectively and proficiently remove the intake in several pieces. It is all about the tune. Good tune, it will live.
And a side note, the rims are FR500's. Nothing better than FR500s in my mind....but I'm biased.
And I believe the color name you are looking for is mineral gray...I believe that was the metallic color. I don't believe Dark Shadow Gray was metallic...but someone will correct me if I am wrong. My Girlfriend and I have the same color and intend to put the same rims on.
You will definitely be happy with the car. just remember....MGW shifter...end of story.

Wow! shows just how new I am when i cant even get the name of my rims correct on here! Well thanks for the advice though. I've been reading up on that shifter...how difficult would it be to install? Do you have any advice on which Nitrous setup would work the best with this car? How does pooling happen? Any safety measures I can add to prevent an explosion? money is not an option so if there is anything that can make my nitrous experience a good one, please let me know. Thanks again.

Welcome to the site. I'd also recommend that MGW shifter. It took me about 20 minutes to install it on my 03 and that's just because I was taking my time and cleaning as I went.
As far as nitrous...never messed with it myself...but I'd at least make sure you have a window switch as well as a double safety of some sort to ensure you don't spray while doing the burnout or prepping...

Hmmm...so that is DSG and not mineral? I can never tell the difference in pics unless they are side by side.

i have a nitrous kit for sale that is the best made for your car, no need to change the intake because its impossible to have an intake backfire with this kit.it also has fuel safety switch.sfest kit to run period. linkVVV
direct port nitrous
pics of it on my car, still on there working fine.
