ok putting in a new clutch and fly wheel but cant decide if i need to up grade from the 10 spline to the 26 spline. the clutch in 10 spline is 365 but if i want to up grade it will be 750 for all the parts. My question is should I save money and stay with teh 10 spline only have 550 to the wheels or do you guys think i should up grade. Anyone have problems with the 10 spline running the numbers Im at.

I would recommend going ahead and doing 26 spline. You can easily twist the 10 spline at your power level on a good launch. After seeing the aftermath of that I'd recommend going ahead and spending a little more now to save more later. You'd hate to have to buy another clutch and flywheel in 5k miles when you twist the stocker.
I'm gonna do it when I need a new clutch...which will probably be soon after the Stage V.

I did the same thing you are thinking. I did the 10 spline spec 3 clutch 3 years ago...and I should have just done the 26 spline then and been done with it.
For what it's worth, I am putting in a 26 spline spec 3+ this weekend.
Also, don't do the stage 5 shafts, waste of money. They have been snapping on people left and right lately. Strange is working with another company and they are coming out with a new upgraded half shaft. that is spodda be stronger than the DSS shafts.
Concentrate more on ending wheel hop and you won't have to worry about half shafts. There are a lot of guys running deep in the 10s on slicks on stock shafts. It is the wheel hop that kills you.
New shafts can be seen here...they certainly look impressive...I can't wait for some testing results. New half shaft update - ModularFords.com

Also, side note. The 26 spline input shafts are on back order everywhere until the end of july. That is the soonest liberty told lethal they could get them. It isn't set in stone though. They are on backorder from both liberty as well as D&D is sold out of them.
I got lucky and found someone that had one new in box they decided not to install or couldn't install. Something like that anyhow. So I bought his last week.

Yupp, I'm also keeping the IRS at any cost. Gonna stick with stock shafts for a while, probably buy a spare set to keep around just in case. But, I don't have a problem with wheel hop after IRS brace, forward torque brace, springs, and tires.

^^^ I will be keeping mine as well. If I don 't snap my current stockers, I will probably buy a set of those new ones I linked to when they are released to the public assuming they hold the normal strange quality standards. Then I'll have my stockers for backup.
If those new ones suck, then I will just order a set of stock replacements. Once I get all the bushings replaced, my hop will be pretty well gone....nothing a set of sticky tires won't cure anyhow.
Solid rear is just for those people that can't drive anyhow. Right Jarrod?

also motoblue has a hard launch bar that replaces the stock tube bar. they say it eliminates all the wheel hop its only like 180 bucks for the bar and 90 bucks for the aluminum busgings. but all the others i see are just bushings and aluminum washers and for 400 bucks dont get it.

I'm not aware of any hard launch bar available for the IRS's, but I have never looked for one either so that doesn't mean much.
I'm guessing your already lowered...but if not, stiffer springs will help in the back. Then get all that rubber garbage out of the IRS with the bushings. ac427cobra on SVTP has a great kit for the upper and lower control arms, IRS cradle, and differential bushings. I am ordering the IRS and diff bushings next week from him ($209 for just those bushings). I'll do the upper and lower control arms later.
The key is just to get rid of all the play in the rear end. The bushings, stiffer springs, and some good sticky tires will eliminate most of the wheel hop issues. It's impossible to get rid of it completely...but you can get rid of most of it.
And as for lethal, yeah, I ordered input shaft from them 2 weeks ago. Then they called the the day after I placed my order to let me know the input shaft is on back order until at least the end of july. I called around to RWTD, D&D, D'agostino, and another obscure place I can't remember the name of. They were all sold out.

They didn't when I called them a couple weeks ago (left them out my list)...but maybe I talked with the wrong person. Then again, LFP has been acting kind of strange lately too. If they have one, I would snag it up ASAP before word gets out.

well I called Lighning performance and they had just gotten a shipment in of the 26 spline shafts, so went ahead and ordered the spec stage 3 clutch and the shaft along with all new pilot and throw out bearings.

Don't order the shim kit brad, I have an extra set here you can have.
Aslo, I am in the process of taking my clutch out and doing the swap with the input shaft as well...so I am doing a write up with pics.
