ok, im ordering a d1 or f1 procharger soon, ati says i could be making over 800rwhp @20 psi which is what im planning on boosting it to. i need to build a fuel system and i have some ideas in mind. what i need to know is,
1)what is the maximum horsepower that the twin gt supercar pumps can support? can i boost-a-pump the twins to up that power limit.
2) if i swap to a 98 cobra return style, what are some favorite pumps other than aeromotive. im looking at magnafuels right now.
basically, if i can use a returnless fuel system to support up to 900rwhp, i would rather go that route. im not to familiar with this power level because ive never built anything over 650 rwhp and the twin supercar pumps were plenty sufficient for that power.

There are a number of guys running the GT pumps over 700 rwhp. I also know that you can run a KB BAP on top of the GT pumps if you need to. That is what Joe was doing if I remember right...in his 1400 rwhp GT.
Anyhow, I believe the GT pumps are good for around 700 or 800 stand alone. KB sells a twin bap setup so you can run a BAP if you wanted on top.
Another thing to think about is that guys with big power GT500s are running stock pumps with the twin baps....these include those running 3.4L whipples in the 800 rwhp range.
Another thing to think about is that Fore Pricision now has a triple pump fuel hat so you can run 3 GT pumps if you wanted to.

ok, the fore hat is definitly an option, but do you think those 3 pumps will max out, im limiting the car to under 800rwhp, if it makes more, imma back the boost down. i like the idea of the twin pumps and BAP. i think imma try the twin pumps and if i max them, ill BAP them.
next question for ya, all of the supercar installs i have done were on cobras, do i have to have a cobra tank to run a cobra style fuel hat if i pull out the plastic retainer for my factory fuel pump?
and will my fuel lines work with the cobra fuel hat?

it all depends on whether the car gets to the track to run those 9's...cause you keep changing your mind on the plans. I thought I was bad...but damn son.

im dead set on this combo, d1 or f1 procharger, sheetmetal intercooler, 20psi, fore dual pumps(until maxed)then triples.billet fuel rails, slp full lt headers, offroad x and loudmouth catback.
after that, an automatic and mini-tub will be in the future.

Uh...yeah...but...your car is still for sale...so...
But, I can't really talk much with as many times as I have changed my mind on the fox and cobra for that matter. Although, I'm dead set on both setups now....until I change my mind again anyhow. lol
