That is freaking awesome...please give a review after you try it. I love that sound...the louder and more obnoxious I can make my car the better at the moment.

I'm trying to figure out the pulley combo. It seems like they use only lowers to adjust by reading on there...

yeah thats all u need to do. goes from 14 to 24lbs and no one will know unless they measure your lower pully. its set up just like the metco lower pully system and if you already own the metco lower you can just get a cog ring will match right up.

sweet! i love the sound of cog setups. I keep thinking if i ever change my setup to go cog, i dunno if i will like the sound long term though. Its kind alike a BOV to me, it sounds cool at first, but a week or so later you are changing driving habits so it doesnt go off every freaking time you shift.
i would love this to replace my current 2.8 upper and (3)100mm and (1)90mm idler setup. I have to reapply belt conditioner like once a week and am really getting sick of it.

fuck its like what, 1300$ though. Dont see how its worth 1300$ for a few cog pulleys and a belt. Must cost them 50$ to produce. no wonder its such a rarity.

Yep, it's waaaaaaay expensive for what it is.
And I've heard too many rumblings about the whole "no slip" thing tearing up blower snouts. Since there needs to be a certain level of "slip" to take the tension off of vital parts.

yeah its more expensive, but you figure its 125 for one upper pully, 250 for all of the other idler pullys, and 350 for the metco lower pully set so 725 for the entire pully set and you will get sliping on the top end or you have the never ending belt dressing. as far as the to much tension issue your belt tensioner should take care of that issue. yeah i know im alittle high on the other pullys but was just doing a average price. For me though I'm going to be spraying the piss out of this thing so I need all posative turn I can get.

"never ending belt dressing"?? I have yet to put any dressing on my belt. Only people I know that use dressing are using it for sound alone, nothing more.
And the tensioner will help with "tension", but it's the non-slip that's the problem.
I just don't want to spend that kind of money with a chance to tear up a snout or get tired of the constant whine. Or a combination of both. But that's just my .02

I've never put dressing on mine either. I had slip with my 2.76 upper, but my current setup is zero slip.

I'm going with a 2.76 upper, 90mm idler, and 2# lower. A friend of mine just put this setup on his steggy port and he's having no belt slip issues after ordering an aftermarket tensioner. With this new news I'm sticking with the belt lol.

You could get the same results out of a 2.93/4# or a 3.10/6#. It all depends on what comes with your ported blower when you buy it. I went the 3.1 route to have the biggest pulleys I could have top and bottom for the extra wrap. If I keep the eaton and bail on the KB/Whipple idea, then I am going to get the stage 5+ and a 2.93 upper with my 6# lower.

Well the blower comes with a 2.76...but...I'm going to be swapping the pulley to a blue one so I can change the size if need be.

What color pulley does it come with? And it's not a billetflow pulley is it?

I think it is billetflow as well. that's why I'm not 100% sure what I'm gonna do yet. I really don't want to fork out the money for a new ring setup but I might have to.
And it's a black pulley at the moment.

Hmm....when you get ready to do such a thing, let me know. I may throw you some money for that ring and run a 2.76/6# with the stage 5+ port and killer chiller.

I agree a person can get tired of the whine but, but im used to big blowers and I love the sound. I have heard of the snout problem but motoblue said they did a lot of testing and | | |
