exactly! i learned to drive a stick in my dad's old pick up truck...i hated it. but it is kinda hard to learn on a gravel road that's at a slight incline the whole way. even when yur sittin at the bottom so u have to juggle b/t putting yur foot on the brake so u don't roll back into a tree and push the clutch in while tryin to ease on the gas just so u can move a few feet and choke it down...lol

yeah i don't think stick is for me either. lol too much of a pain, maybe a manual mustang would be easier to learn in or something.

Well what I've been told is that since it has more power it's easier. Weather that is true or not I do not know.

I want a stick now and I'm told I'm crazy since its all traffic here, but oh well!
Mustangs are supposed to be easier since there is so much torque it catches the clutch better, I think?
Quick story, I drove this car with an identity crisis, it was a Saab with an STI engine, anyway you could actually ease your foot off the clutch and it caught very nicely without hitting the gas, Dropping the clutch though would stall it.

I can do that with the Jeep. Its great in traffic. I have even idled up my pretty steep driveway before.

No doubt to either the auto being as fast, or faster and to the Jeep's clutch.
It was just nice to practice on. I suck at stick
