i cleaned my cold air filter with a K & N recharge kit ( the filter is not K & N) and my cars been running kinda bad. Worse mileage and sluggish. I made sure to follow the directions too. Any advice to what may be wrong? I thought cleaning the filter would improve the cars efficientcy. I also checked my tires.

Plugs, wires (if it has wires), O2 sensors, that'd be a good start.
