No, because it cools the air after compression. If it cooled it and made it more dense before compression, then it would make more power. However, since it is post SC, and the air is already compressed, the amount of O2 in the mix is not increased. It serves merely as detonation prevention lowering the down stream air temps from the normal 115-140* down to around 70-75*.
Technically, because the down stream temps will be so low you will be able to run more timing advance, hence making more power, but the chiller itself won't make more power on its own.
The meth kit gets injected before air compression cooling the air, but then it is re-heated by the air compression process therefore undoing what the meth did in the first place.
The difference is the killer chiller cools the air via the intercooler post compression, the meth cools the air pre-compression so it does not generate as cool of temps.
In a turbo/centri setup, the meth will be injected after compression, therefore cooling the air as it enters the motor. Basically, in this setup, it will work the same as the killer chiller in the cobra setup.
In the V6 situation, meth injection will be a good idea because they do not use an intercooler. Without the intercooler, downstream temps upwards of 200* are not unrealistic. 200* intake temps are just begging for detonation and bad bad things. The meth kit will help bring those back under control.

I didn't even think about them spraying it after the blower due to the IC. Yeah mine will be sprayed either in front of or behind the TB, if not in the upper intake itself, still got a good while until I get to that point though.

and v6's with eatons make so much sick power you wouldn't even need an intercooler. the 2 less cylinders will help with keeping the engine cooler under higher boost levels.

Are the temps so bad on the termi that the nitrous doesn't have any substantial cooling effect?

nitrous has a cooling affect but adds power too. robs would start pushing its limits with nitrous...the killer chiller is the shit from what ive read.but i have heard good things about meth on termys

Well yeah, I know the juice adds power too lol
I never even thought about it until just now, but I'm curious as to how EGT's and head temps respond to meth. I've been considering using a little 50shot to cool the air charge sprayed before the maf, but I haven't found anything to determine wether or not it will be effective.

i know people running 50 dry shot kits on eatons and netting more that 75 hp gains, the nitrous definitly cools the IAT, but in robs case he wants it to cool all the time not just when the bottle is full and the nitrous is armed, thats why the killer chiller is so nice, how are they cooling the v6 eaton set-up with no intercooler or heat exchanger?

Hey Jarrod, how long and price wise of installing my meth inj. kit? Reason asked is, they suggest tuning it in the final phase of the installation (according to the manual), and also suggest depending on the amount of HP the vehicle is pushing, to use certain fittings for more spray. I figured, tune it as we go with the kit installed, then put a smaller pulley on it. I really need to sit down with you and Benjy about getting my chip reburned as well.
I switched to a different position yesterday on the bezel, and the fuel pumps never fully engaged, just kept making that humming noise, but not as loud as usual on startup.

That's sort of the biggest hurdle. Nobody has passed 12psi yet. Depending on how much I spend on this engagement ring determines when the new engine will be finished lol
There aren't enough highly experienced F/I guys doing it, so i can't ask them the technical questions that they should know the answers to. I'm gonna have to do a lot myself. With the old M90, it was obviously easy to get any kind of intercooler to work, but due to the termi internal and the way our adapter is setup, there is no way to intercool in a conventional method.
It's not a huge deal, that's why I have a Billetflow hub, so i can switch out. I don't need 20psi for dd use, 8 is plenty, and that won't require any extra cooling. I want to try to get my IAT's below 100* when I'm running my high boost at the track, so since it's track only meth and/or juice is completely fine with me.
I actually plan to dd this car, so i don't want it too too crazy all the time. (that's a lie, but I'm trying to convince myself I believe it lol)

mikey> i talked to wes yesterday and we are gonna have to pull your chip out and go with a moets chip, because we dont really know what you have, im a fan of this route anyway because wes is an awesome tuner and he just joined the tps team as our head tuner and he just happens to have a car like yours so thats his sweet spot.i got benjy writing up a total on the meth install and a tune, do you need me to locat a pulley?
ryan> i was thinking maybe a supercoupe intercooler and piping could be made to fit the m112????

Jarrod-Yes, I'd like to throw a smaller pulley and hope to aim around the 14-16psi mark. I figured sitting there, I should be at the limit of the block (if internals are not done), and should be at the limit as to where I won't break shit.
Ryan-If you know a plumber they can fab you up anything for pipings

um, 15psi is steep on hyperutectic(sp) pistons and stock rods...ill do it but, your signing a waiver on that one and start saving for benjys 331
