Well Justin at VMP has tuned a few, and due to the way the air is flowing in to the adapter, location of the IAT has become a tuning factor. I think it was more or less due to people not mounting it in the direct path of the air flow. The engineer in me doesn't see how that could matter though.

oh yeah, I know, but a few guys claimed to have seen 20-30* differences depending on location. I think either their completely wrong, or may have left out other variables when they saw it.
I personally want to run a seperate IAT on a guage, just so I can keep tabs on it, but it seem autometer has gotten out of the IAT business.

ehhh, so ive been told, shattered spider gears, twisted axle tubes, broken driveshafts(u-joints) and many many blown rear shocks... i think its just my car tho...it hates me
