power window problem HELP !!!!!

Ok guys need help here, Got in the car tonight (94 GT) rolled the windows down, got to the store rolled them up everything was fine came out and once again rolled them down well when I got home went to roll them up, pass side went up fine tryed the drivers and nothing, but noticed the lights dimmed for a second and the radio kicked off and then right back on again, everytime I touch the button the radio goes off for a second and the lights dim a little, only for a second tho I can hold down the buttom and the radio and lights will go back to normal. Drivers window motor is only like 3 months old, could there be a wire loose on the motor or what ? Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Spark Plug]

sounds like a short in the wiring, get a schematic and see what those two circuits have in common, might have to end up just manually tracing the wires down, also check your power and grounds at the swtich, could let ya know if it's a short to power or to ground

thats too funny. My drivers window motor just went out in my 03 GT like 3 days ago. However, I know its my motor. Anyone know if they are hard to replace yourself? Or would it be best to have ford do it?

sounds like cajun...only his driver window will start rolling up but stops about 4" short and just continues to try like the gears are slipping.

Well found my problem today, when who ever replaced the window motor they didnt tuck the wires to good and one of them was rubbing against a sharp piece on the door and it was shorting it out. So I took it out and run new wire and tucked them a little better and made sure they were far away from anything that would cause this again and I even checked the other door just incase. And yes it is a PITA to change the PW motor I had to take mine out to repair the wires and it sucked. But thanks everyone for the help.

sorry couldn't resist. as a side note i also have a short in my wiring for the windows as well, only work when the door is in the perfect position. LOL
