Aftermarket Stereo

I have a 02 Mustang with the 6 disc cd changer. I also have the Mach audio system in it. I was woundering if i get an aftermarket stereo if it would still produce sound going through the amps already installed from the factory or if i need to bypass them?

They make a factory interface so you can run it through the amps.
