I have a 2004 V6 I am pretty sure its a 3.9L. I was wondering if the MAC or JBL shorty headers will fit. been really hard finding stuff. everything i run across says 00-03 and 3.8L; is there any diffrence between the 3.8L and 3.9L V6?
Headers aren't gonna do you any good unless you go with longtubes...even then it will only do you good with some serious engine work.

It's all internal, but pretty much everything works on it. Get some MAC LT's and a catted h-pipe and either a magnaflow or flowmaster catback. Magnaflow has better performance, but there's a general concensus that flows sound a little better.
Icant seem to find a catted h-pipe, found a catted x-pipe but it was for stock or shorty headers. I dont like flowmaster their sound or their lack of perforamce. Most likely if I dont run the steeda side exhaust i will run magnaflow

MAc used to make a catted h-pipe, but stopped due to supplier issues about a year ago. You can jsut buy an h-pipe and have a couple high flow cats welded in, that way everything will still bolt up correctly.
thats seems like more work then i want to do. i think the x-pipe or the h-pipe convetions ive seen will work ok with the shorty's. again thanks for the advice guys
