Well, last night I was able to pick up my daily driver finally. A 1993 LX Hatch 4 banger auto. 81k miles on it, one owner car. Bought it from the original owners. This is going to be my daily driver while I get the cobra and 81 under way. This one is going to be a stock restoration...or a resto mod as I will upgrade a few things like brakes and suspension. But, it is going to stay a 4 banger and just get prettied up.
Anyhow, here are some pics of it. I figure it will be on the road late next week once I get paid and get it registered. Looking forward to pushing the 87 button on the pumps instead of 93. Going to be a great feeling.
Also, don't mind the hood and lights. The hood is open as the cable is broke, so I haven't shut the hood...and the lights are out because they were low on fluid so I took them out to dump out the 3 quarts that were in the light housings and replace the bulbs.

Trying to decide if I should go 5.0 in the 81 or the supercoupe...may just come get the shortblock from you anyhow and work it for another project. It will be a few weeks none the less.

I'll have to keep that in mind...or, I could see if the dude on here would be willing to part with the turbo kit he is selling as a complete motor. I wouldn't mind turboing it though and making it a 25+ mpg daily driver with some pep.

I got mine from a stealership and probably came out better than from a private party since it was reef blue, had a mint no options black interior and fairly low miles for an at the time 11 year old car (101k). Only downside is that it was a 4-banger. Rob got me looking for another one with this thread though, lol.

(I.E. i have no idea wtf a california special is due to the fact that once ford made about 234098324 different kind of 05+ stangs..i lost interest in them...
