Hey all, took the GT to the track last week and this week.
Last week was a "street-racing style" so no times or anything. Go on the drop of a flag.
Heres the vid of me going against a Chevelle? with a 454. Can't remember type of car, just the guy saying, i just got this 454 put in the car, never ran it yet. Need to say he eats my lunch out of the whole (I'm on streets, he has drag radials or slicks) but all in all at the end, I come out ahead by 1/2 a car.
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoid=38667961
I have 2-3 more runs from last night with times on the same streets and will post my time slips.

he needs a new shifter!!! imma take itr apart and see if it has removable springs.1-2 is a PITA. i had a freakin blast dude...ran the 96 a few time on my 315 mickeys, everybody was taking pictures of my burnouts. my first burnout, the car turned to a 45 degree angle with the track and i rolled out of it and straightened up...soo fun, had a top fuel car smoke the wall during his burnout. gotta get mine back together....

chevrolets are 350, ford are 351, i put a 350 in my lil brothers 89 camaro, used to be a v6 5 speed car, now its a 350ci 5 speed with 3.73,shorty headers, and a thunder series edelbrock intake and carb, the v6 trans has awesome gears so his car is pretty fast for the lack of mods, itll eat up a stock gt by about 4 cars from a dig. he beat me in my modded 2v setup i had clutch, full exhaust with longtubes and cai, and he beat me by a nose.the car is quick but we went from a roll, from a dig he would be super close to mikeys car because he is pretty good at hooking his car and it transfers on the v6 springs...

yeah, i can shift a factory shifter better than that one, imma have to take it apart and look at it, almost like it has a burr or something trying to keep it out of second, i can hit every other gear fine though. im hoping it has springs like the hurst or i think steeda too, wher you can pull a spring out and make it softer.

Or, there is something bent in there from the retardedness that was his clutch before the new cable.

Unless it's an LS motor, in which case it's a 347.

Mikey said...you raced a 350 camaro...so I was just curious what a 350 camaro was. I know there are Z28s and SS's...and I know that both of them come with a 350...so...I was just looking to get some clarification as to what a 350 camaro was. Figured it was some uber leet special edition like you find on ebay all the time or something
