I have a 1994 Mustang Gt with about 195,000 that I purchsed pretty cheap. It has gears, full exhaust and a cam (not sure about what kind) but i'm looking to redo the entire motor. Block up to intake. I'm looking for someone who builds engines to help me out. I'm looking for suggestions on what to do...
I want around 500 HP (of course more is better..lol)
So, if you know anyone or have any ideas I appreciate it!

That sounds great....I would want the full monty done. I just dont know what route to go. I'm thinking maybe a sick 347 right now, and add an S/C at the first of the year, I just dont know. any suggestions?
I'm pretty sure I dont want the stock block, becuase I know it can only hold 500Hp usually, and I dont want to stress it. I've considered the Trick flow top end engine kit...but i've heard I can get better HP by going different routes.

we have a 331 in a car right now that will make 500 easy with low boost on a blower or small shot of nitrous, built bottomend in an svo block i believe, its benjys car, he will chime in when he gets a chance and give you some details on the motor, trickflow heads are really nice but you may be looking at going a little bugger to make 500hp,unless you go boost or nitrous.

I hear you there, I mean I dont have to do trick flow...im open to anything really. I like the Holley System Max intake, as well as the elderbrock RPM2. I plan on keeping this car, so I want to start out fresh, strong, and fast.

Yeah, like I said in the other thread, you should come out this weekend. You don't need your car, just any mode of transport will do. Hang out, discuss things with benjy and jarrod...and they will fill your head with lots of options.

We really need to talk before I recommend you a combination. Id like to know where you want to go with the build other then 500hp. Naturally aspirated daily driver will be very difficult, forced induction or 351 based stroker (408 for example) would be the way to go but it all depends on what you want and what your budget will allow.Just give me a call sometime or come by the dyno day on Sat and we can talk about it in great detail.

Ok, what time is the dyno day and where is it? I'm not familiar with the area, I dont leave the New Orleans area much. I've been stationed down here for 2 years, and been to BR 3 times...lol
the car wont be an EVERY day driver, maybe every other or so. I live on base so, work is like 1 minute away.
I'd like to come up there if I could, and see what setups I can do, and all that. That way I have an idea price-wise going into my budget.
Thanks Fellas!

It is from 9 am until whenever and then we are all going to go to hooters for some dinner afterwards.... TPS address is as follows...in case you want to get directions from mapquest or google maps:
40472-C Abby James Rd.
Prairieville, LA 70769
I'll PM you my number if you decide to come up and I can get you from the interstate to the shop pretty easily. It's real simple to get to. You'll basically take I-10 to exit 163 (Highland Road). From there it is only a couple of turns...about 7 miles.
Also, if you come up and want to crash up here instead of driving back home that night, I have room at my place for you to crash if you would like. Or you could come up friday night and crash and head to the dyno day early. We are all getting together at my house friday night as well. TPS is only about 5 miles from my house. Litterally just around the corner.

Just let me know if you need a place to stay...and I'll make sure to expect the company. I know brent is staying here from friday till sunday, and Brad will be staying if he is able to make it in from Miss....and probably one other person if he can make it in. I have plenty of room, so just let me know.

Looking forward to it. What time does it start and end? Thanks!
