Well, now I can't seem to find those stupid intake bolts!
Got the 1/2" phenolic and made a spacer but now I can't find the bolts for it, so I'll be putting her back together sans spacer and keep my eyes out for some bolts for it. At least now I know the size I need:
94-98 (8mm x 1.25 pitch)
4 of them at 140 mm
2 of them at 115 mm
(stock is 130 and 105 so add 10 mm)
If anyone knows where to find these I'd be most appreciative.

Look for studs not bolts. I would go to a machine shop supplier or a tooling company

There are 6 studs on the upper intake.
Remove the 2 on each ends of the upper intake, then remove the four in the center.
Then you have to remove the 2 bolts to the EGR sensor those can be kinda a pill becuase of how they are angled.
Then remove vacuum hoses, and wires.
Then you should remove the intake and TB together.

ugg those are 6mm by 1.0 pitch? Will they work?
Also a few tech Qs,
1. with a ft/pound torque wrench, what should I torque the intake bolt too?
2. where is this "hidden vaccum tube"? Is it visible without taking anything off?
Thats all for now...

You shouldnt' even attempt to take that engine apart without a Haynes, Chilton or some kind of manual to give you some specs to go by.

So these bolts the Rellik suggested will work?? I found the 8mm by 1.25 pitch, but are these bolts the correct strength and all??
Thanks!
