Will a roller rocker from a 5.0 (1.72:1) fit an 00 3.8l?

I'm not sure if it's pedestal mount or not, but shouldn't it work fine? :?:
I'm asking because I know a guy that is selling them el-cheapo style, <150, slightly used.

nope, wont fit.
plus, that downgrades the ratio anyway. stock is 1.73

351 rockers should work. I always forget if its windsor or cleveland though... :-?

W, well, shoot, I think it's windsor. :-?
Brandon the ratio is important, but not all that much, it's position of fulcrum and weight pushed around... .01 is way negligible.

You need Clevelands. Windsor wont work they are also 1.72 like the 302's Sorry

The 351 Cleveland design was almost a direct copy of a 396 Chevy, the 3.8 V6 is a copy of the Buick 3.8 V6, coincidence that they have about the same roller rocker, lol, who knows, lol.

What he said. We basically have a cleveland valvetrain although not as
canted as the actual C engine.

I've had 5.0 rockers on there, the tip length is shorter
on a 5.0 so it hits the edge of the valve stem. Instant wipe-out!
And no, I did not run it that way, I just checked the geometry
