Need some information on two cars.

Apparently these two ricers, both my friends, think the can beat my car. I'll seperate em so you'll who's who.
NISSAN 24SX // 4 BANGER, AUTOMATIC, REAR WHEEL DRIVE
Some where in this dudes head, he thinks if we both go our cars waxxed and and cleaned up, he think his car would be worth more. His car has 163,00 miles on it. My car has 52,000. He also thinks it's a better build car than mine. Not sure about the year it is, maybe 90-ish, pop up headlights, hatchback, square body.
- How much Horsepower?
- Quarter mile time?
2002 CHEVY CAVAILER // 4 BANGER, AUTOMATIC, FRONT WHEEL DRIVE
All the car has is a fart cannon. That's it. Oh, and its a Cavi Sport. Not a Ecotec.

ok dude not to sound jacked, but if you need to ask that question, maybe you shouldnt be around cars. you should have no problem making those rice kids cry. the 240sx might be the only thing you have to worry about, if he knows how to drive it. the cavi is slow as hell, even modded. 240sx in automatic form will slow it down greatly, and im assuming you have a manual? take those boys out back and beat them like theyve never been beaten before.

i do believe hes asking cause they want to race him and he doesnt want to get smoked by those pos cars. hes asking us about it because many of us have more experience with dealing with ricers and their total bs hp outputs with just exhaust. in my opinion, hell smoke both of them no sweat.

why care if they are? Only insecure people say how their POS is better than someone elses car. Look at how many ricers make their car fast as shit but look like it belongs in a junkyard.
anyways, if the cavy is a z24 it has the same hp and a bit less torque. But he weighs less at only 2700lbs. If it isnt a z24 your looking at a weak little engine you should take.
The 240sx also has the same hp but less torque, and weighs in around 27-2800lbs.
are you an auto? if so, theyll give you a run for your money. You weigh a lot more and that will kill off that extra torque. If your a 5spd it will be close.

my friends got a 93 240sx 5 speed... that thing took me until i had my gears. Im an auto though so that makes sense. Those things arent slow... i like 240's

Last Night I raced a friends 1997 240sx, manual,about 90k miles. he has all the basic bolt ons.Mines an auto, and all i have done is put on a CAI.(got the duals sittin in the garage, waiting for hangers from ford) anyway...From a 40 roll I pulled on him maybe about 1/2 a car at 80mph. I think there pretty quick, so if you have a standard tranny you should be better off than i was. |

Mines a 5spd. Both of theres are autos. But only the dude in the Cavi will race. The other is just scared. |

And let me add, that not only in my opinion, but in my personal experience, I have smoked both of the same cars, and I have an auto with a 500 lb. spoiler and sound system. So you'll have no problem dude |
