ok as most of ya'll know I have Dual Exhaust on my 98 mustang. I love it and it looks great but I am starting to want side skirts with it. Kinda like Evals(autobadges) or dan (Dan Haga) I like the look of those. Also I have Chrome tips on it and it makes kinda of a "farting" sound or someting like that.

thats what it looks like from the back, and this is lookin into the tip.

What can I do and can someone please help

What exactly are you wanting?
I mean, buy some side exhaust side skirts and install them, then go to a welder and tell him what you want done...
As far as the farting noise, get some different mufflers. what do you have now?

what makes you think the tips will make it sound much different? because they won't make much difference at all... dumping them is another option that would sound a ton better, but since you put money into the side exhaust i bet you want to show them off, and that will require piping from the muffler to skirts, and will still sound farty or near as much though.

what exhaust do you have... it looks like it is a good design but i can't see the other half of the piping, just the tips <-> muffler. performance wise it already has a lead against the ones that go to themuffler then back towards the front of the car for a foot or two and then to the left or right to the tips.

in the RED dots are the bends that are in it, and would it sound the same if i put a "down pipe" tip on there? (thats the green) or dumps (blue)

well, what do you want, performance or looks?
are the mufflers hung in the stock locations (did you buy gt hangers or did he fab some up for you?)?
the 'downpipe' you refer to is called a dump, btw.
if i was you i'd dump it right after it exits the muffler. you could even do it with a hacksaw and do it at an angle to avoid heating anything on the underside of your car up. the 'nicest' way to dump them is to have a limp dick just shoot straight down. sorry... limp dick = like the stock 99+ v6 exhaust tip... it looks, well, like one.

yeah but i am talkin about the "downpipe" on a diesel exhaust, its a 45* angle tip that goes on the end. I think I am going to "dump" it till I get some GT take offs. :-?"
"EDIT" BTW yes they are in the stock location, but the muffs are one of Dynomax "shorts" they are about 3" shorter then stock.

What size is that pipe? I'd get some 2.25" Warlocks on there,
it will kill the fart can noises and give U the straight-thru capability :d
and they are cheap too! U could use the same tips even if they are
smaller than 2.25" but the pipes would need replaced, and then cut
the tips a bit for bigger pipes. Pretty easy stuff.
