Will a 3.8 cougar head bolt up to a mustang block?

What year Cougar is it In most cases if you have a 94-98 Mustang all FWD heads will fit.

88+ heads bolt right on... to the block but the intakes won't bolt up.
"2000 >" ... 2000 up right?
the only heads that work on yours are 99+ 3.8v6 mustang, 97+ 4.2 f150/e150 and 96+ 3.8 winstar.
