After spending a month or wiring neons under the car and two ten inch neons under the dash, I think I gotta go grasp on how neons work.
I even had to solder one back together after ripping the ground wire out of the board on one of the ten inch neons.
So, any questions? Feel free to PM too.

It's really not that difficult if you understand how electronics work. All of my stereo and neon installation I taught myself, nothing to it. But I'm glad you understand it all, now use your knowledge to make money. Ppl pay good to get it done right. Just be sure you actually know exactly what you're doing first. You don't wanna get in over your head.

Yea, all they are are just a simple 3 wire hook up to a switch. One to the battery, one to ground the switch, the other to the neon.

it's all simple until you start really getting into it. I have done systems with people and have had to run about 50 lines all over the car and hid them and make sure I was overloading anything, and put inline fuses in. It gets difficult. Work with your friends doing their systems for the price of food before you make a move.

That's how I taught myself. Talked my friends into letting me experiment on their cars. As long as I paid for it they didn't care.

OK Dom Your sixteen now I understand the facination with Neon's. I dont say this to cut you down just typical of young people who want to stand out but dont have a High performance car or alot of mechanical experiences to jump into a motor and do performance upgrades. That is why I and others are here to help teach and give credible information on the best mods and such for members cars.
You should stray into the performance areas more often and ask question. There are quite a few of us that can help you with just about any Mod you want

I'll make $5.50 and hour. The car payment every month is $225.00. The insurance payment for the car is $200.00 every month. Do the math. I'm planning the add a supercharger in a few days.

I know alot more about this car than your giving me credit for. I was reading up on the V6 six months before I even got my car. I know who are the best companies to go for what.
The lighting on the car was the cheapest place to start.
