your tb now is 65mm... more than adequate for a stock motor. if you have a project you're working on or are going to need more air then just find a take off 70mm, that'd be your best bet.

The aftermarket Mac tbody on my GT is only 70mm, my upper intake plenum is ported and polished to 70mm, this on a 4.6L GT, I am not sure what the size of the stock tbody was, probably also 65mm, I one one from it that that is half shafted and polished, don't think it would fit on a V6, but it might, not sure.

basically splitting the shaft of the throttle plate right down the center of its axis so its flat on one side then there is only a shaft on one side of the throttle plate, less resistance to flow like that.

It can have major gains, and the smaller
TB's have shown over ~100 CFM gains
thru doing this process. But they are
more poorly constructed. I'd say
the above 60mm TB goes at least +50 CFM.
