It's around 110. The gauges aren't accurate on every single car. But some people say without they've been around 130-ish.
The reason it's there is because of the tires are rated for that speed from the factory. |

Almost all cars have speed limiter. V6 mustangs limiter comes in somewhere around 116mph. A chip or dyno tune can remove the limiter.

I understand they don't remove it, they raise it to an unattainable value, like 175 mph, at any rate this should be in ECU, moving it there.

To me, that's removing it. I'd love to see a V6 go 175 though. |

Yeah, might as well be removing it even on a GT, unless you did some pretty good mods.

i own a 2002 v6 and by using the diagnostics testing i was able to bring up a digital speedo and my speed limiter came on at 113.3 MPH[/quote] |
