The other day when I started the car to go to lunch, the SES light - that had been on for a week or so didn't come on  This has been 3 or 4 days now - and it's still off!
Guess the car is wishing me a happy new year and to get me from shaking my head at it :thumb2:

That happened to me; went off on its own, but it came back after a while.
If you didn't get the code read, it's still a good idea to find someone to do it. Just so you have an idea why it was on.

It's always something stupid like a sensor malfunctioned or the fuel system purged.

I had so many of those stupid lights come on on my 94 I actually considered removing that bulb from the dash, but then I thought, that wouldn't be a very smart idea now would it? hehehe.

There are errors that will set the light and if, after so many starts, the error doesn't return the light goes out. This may be the case here.
