Cam swap

I'm not sure if this has been covered yet.

If I swap my cam do I need a dyno tune?

The reason that I ask is that I might be getting a Turbo over the summer and I would want to get it dyno tuned then.

I would get a dyno with a cam swap but the real need for a chip is when you change the injectors.

it helps...but is not necessary.

There are guys running around with out a tune and just a cam swap and haven't really had any problems.

I started with a cam swap, so didnt plan on a tune, and ended up with porting heads/intakes and removing some things form the engine so I kinda need one now.

Yea I can't really afford ported heads and intake with the turbo and I'd rather get the Turbo.
