Clear Headlights?

Is there a way I can take out the yellow sidemarkers on the headlights? My friend in Florida did it, but he had to pry open the light, a bunch of work to say the least. Is there an easier way, or do they sell any clear headlights?

My car is a 2000.

I have seen them in the past when my wife had her 2000, but we always have heard of people doing the same as your friend did, or you could take like a white/black decal and place it on the outside of the light so there is no worry of separation then...

That is probably what I will do, and put the decal on the sidemarker. Ive seen that done as well.
