This forum needs to get going again:
I've made my descision.. Iam going 5.0, its been my dream to get a 5.0 back again, ever since I totaled my 89 GT when I was 16.
So I think ill build up the six engine myself. For something else. Or I was thinking that if I get a Fox body with a 5.0 ill just swap them, and get them to work at some point. But i really want the 5 in the 95 body.
But ill be dropping in a 5.0 liter in the mustang.
Iam already saving up for that.. and my new shop that i've been builing in my garage, but shh thats a secret!

no 3k isnt worth it...
what i want to do is buy a shit ass 5.0 from the yard we have here in chester.
there sell the ass hole high mileage ones for like 200 bucks.
I want to rip it apart and rebuild. Take a long time with it, learn more and ect. while iam doing it upgrade tranny and rear end, and suspension.
Iam probably going to buy one soon, and v6p, I dont have many "plans for it" But i can tell ya, that if iam rebuilding it, it wont be a stock engine

Great Charles, sounds like a plan to me man! Don't go too high on the mileage though, if the cylinders are worn too much the block might be too far gone to bore back into shape again, they have a tendancy to get worn egg shaped after a lot of miles ya know.

Yeah, I know, but point is you don't want it to be worn out so bad you can't rebuild it.

Yea. He has in this shed thing he built like 2 rows of 5.0 engines. The rest are 2.3l
He organizes the row by mileage. Like row 1 is 10,000-50,000 and row 2 is 50,000+
Then he tags them with what the mileage read on the odometer when he took it out. Something like it, mike was trying to explain it. I gotta go there and check it out again, i've been there once.
