Right now i have a single exhaust and wanting to change to a dual. Right now i have flowmaster 40 on it. I was thinking on putting SLP Loudmouth Resonaltors on it. I don't make much money so i thinking of using a y pipe instead.
If you have any other suggestions please tell.

that doesn't sound bad at all.....i would stay away from SLP, especially on a V6....it will sound really raspy, and its obnoxiously loud....i had it on my V8 and switched to Loud Mouth II's.

When it comes to exhaust, it comes down to the sound that you want. Everyone has their brand that they like. My best advice is to listen to sounds clips on the internet and see what you like best. I do like the loud mouth II's on my car but the regular loud mouths were even high pitched on my car and I have a V8. They were so loud that you couldn't even hold a convo in the car. Listen to Kyles exhaust (his is a V6) and see if you like that, i think it sounds great. I just don't recomend SLP Loudmouths because they would sound like crap and be obnoxious.

Well i have been looking around and i did like how the slp loudmouths sonunded on v6 stangs. I just placed the order today. I'll put up a vid when i get them on.

SLP loud mouth I's are straight pipes. It's an empty shell, so it would save you the work of hollowing out the mufflers if you're going to go that route. BTW straight pipes sound like crap

yeah don't do staight pipes. With out a muffler to cancel out /absourb the higher pitch sounds; you end up sounding like a queen bee on pms and buzz really bad in the upper RPM band. If anything put on a pair of glasspacks or magnaflow 4in round mufflers.
what you have right now sounds prettty good. If I was you I would buy a y-pipe and another muffler like the one you have and call it a day.

Yes Magnaflow and other companies make Y-Pipes, they are universal and would need to be welded or have flange welded to them so it can connect to the muff
