Ok right now i have a 2000 3.8 v6 stang and i was thinking on selling it to get a 93 5.0. I was driving on base because i was bored and i drove pass the lemon lot and i was a 5.0 for sell. I was just wondering if they are worth getting one and plus i just want a 5.0

Well be sure to look it over, make sure its in solid condition, drive it and be sure it runs/works fine, and the price needs to be fair
I haven't not had a 5.0 in my possession for the last 5-6 years haha

Do IT if everything checks out on it and you can get them to sell it for a good price

just be careful, I love my 5.0, but most of these cars are really showing age these days. make sure everything is in good order and that you can stand to drive it alot, before I upgraded some of my suspension my car drove worse than alot of trucks, it still is a little bit of a rough ride now after the mods. but I don't use it as a daily driver.

Dont buy it because you want it. Make sure its a good running and everything is solid, and the price is fair. If something doesnt seem right walk away.

I have checked the blue book value of the car and its only like 1600 and the guys asking 3800. He says he has done work. Tomarrow i'm going to test drive the car and see what he has done to the stang.

blue book isn't going to represent the actual value of this car, 3800 isn't bad if its in good condition. you can probably low ball him a bit, gas prices are going to turn away alot of project buyers.

mine gets around 22mpg when my foot is out of it, its a 331 engine too though. interestingly enough if was only getting about 18 max before I swapped from a 3" cold air and a 65mm tb to a 80mm tb and 4" AFM cold air.

If taken care well that engine should go way over 200,000 miles and still run strong.
