I have a 02 gt, should I just add a decent S/C or just redo the motor or motor swap it? I'm looking to stay around the same price range as a S/C setup, any ideas? Tha car has 109k on it now, runs fine no problems.

I think the S/C idea is a pretty good one.

Add a vortech, you can find them used for reasonable prices and piece together missing parts if needed.

ya but is it wise to throw a s/c onto a motor that has 109k on it?? From everything ive heard that might almost be pointless.

He shouldnt have any problems. They design those kits for stock motors. So as long as he isnt beating the ever living hell out of his car it will be fine. And doesnt turn the boost up.

Ya I realize that but I was just thinking that with the 109k miles on it the engine might be starting to show some wear and tear. Thats all I was thinking.

I thought the same thing at first but when my buddy put a vortech kit on his it had 117k on it. It worked fine up to the day he sold it. The guy that bought it hasnt had any problems yet.

i have 108k on mine and its boosted with a s-trim. no signs of it grenading. as long as the tune isnt super aggressive and the person doesnt run the hell out of it 24/7, u should be fine.
