Between shifts you can see a puff of smoke. I was lifting between the shifts. I didn't notice until the video was in slow motion. Major panic attack. It still runs strong, though. Any ideas on what it may be telling me?
I don't know how to embed the video so I attached it. Can you embed a video in your message?

typically that would be early signs of valve seal problems, lifting from full throttle simulates a hard deceleration, it might also be oil getting past the PCV.
done a leakdown test lately?

First, thanks for looking at it. Actually I haven't done a leakdown since the engine was installed several thousand miles ago. It's a good place to start.

That's it! It's hard for us old people to see that fast!
I wish my 02 had some of the same stuff yours does.

I wonder about the PCV though, I actually moved mine because of stuff like that happening with the motor that he has the stock stuff isn't up to snuff

Thanks Bubbafinch.
The best so far (in the 1/8th) is 7.64 and will run 7.70's with regularity. I do think there's more to be had with my current combination. 60 foot times have been 1.59 - 1.7 Mph is generally 90-91. That's with the old man (me) driving.
