I'm on my way to a friend's house to watch some DVDs with my bro in the seat next to me. At this time.. it's about 1:30 in the morning, streets are clear, nothing but emptiness except for the 4 cars you might see while driving across town. Normally most of my races include some guy behind me thinking I'm going too slow, and when they try getting in the lane next to me they try to "burn" me as they speed up and fly by. That's when I floor it and zoom by them.

So on my way this new RSX comes up behind me, and does what I said above, tries passing me on the right. I step on it, but it isn't long until the RSX is about a car length in front of me. I say to myself, "Shit, looks like I lost this one.." but I keep my foot on the gas and hope anyway. As soon as I feel the car shift into the next gear I FLEW by him! I couldn't believe it, and I bet the RSX couldn't believe it either lol when we made it to the light where I had to turn left, the light was red and I was way way way ahead. He didn't look too happy when he came by me. I'm grinning happily, and he's just staring ahead with this angry stare on his face.

It was a great race though, I really enjoyed it.

don't ya love that rush you get when racing and winning... i like that weak feeling i get in arms and then my hands start getting cold.... anyway on my way to work every morning i always see this guy driving fast in his del sol. i almost drove over him cause i didn't see him...lol. i don't really race him cause there's too much traffic but he always wants to race...if you beat that rsx then i think i can take a del sol!

lol I had the weak feeling I was going to lose! I was feeling a little down until I hit 3rd gear and roared by him. I love my stang

rsx type s with a good driver can pull low 15's. base rsx can do high 15's.

still the base has 180hp. and i think it still has vtec but its a lot less than the type-s vtec. still a pretty nice car, i like them with the better factory body kit, in white, with nice 7 spoke rims and jdm black headlights.

an RSX with a boy kit is pretty nice, I have some neighbors that have one tricked out like that with a Honda Prelude, they really rice the hell out of their vehicles

I dont like RSX's at all they scream jap Cavalier to me. I like the looks of the Integra way better. My neighbors are rice fiends. Rice cars on the block 97 Eclipse GST, 96 Eclipse GSX, (those arent bad, they just have those ironing board spoilers on them) 2000 Eclipse GT, an 80 sumthin CRX, like 3 late model civics, and a turbo'd Mitsu Mirage, if the guy didnt have such a big blopw off valve it would make a nice sleeper.

On the bright side, there are 3 other Mustangs besides mine, 1 5.0, 1 4.6 , and 1 3.8

Average for a Type-S is in the low-ish 15's with good driver's breaking 14's and plenty of crappy ones doing worse. Average for a Base is in the low 16's

The base RSX has 160hp... essentially the same engine as the EP3, as in the 2002+ Civic Si. Also, cars don't have more or less VTEC. It isn't a tangible amount. The RSX-S has a performance variant of vtec that kicks in at 5500rpms or something like that, whereas the base RSX has Vtec-e or something like that that is not for performance, but for Emissions and gas mileage that actually kicks in around 2200rmps.
