Interesting problem

If the car is running, and you open a window, etc the lights dim and radio cuts off. It still runs, just no sound out of the factory amp.

Just discovered this.

If the car is off, and key turned to semi-on, radio and all power works FINE and will NOT cut out the radio if used while it's playing. The lights do NOT dim.

Alternator problem?
RPMS do dip when the car is running and the event happens.

Happens while driving or still. No belt slippage.

Yea I would def point to a alternator probem. Have your alternator checked. If its not that its a short somehwere

does the same thing happen when you use another power accessory like mirrors, or seat? test your alt. to see if it's putting out amps. then go from there.
