40s are the 2 chambers right??? My friend has a 2000 GT with long tube headers, and o/r h pipe, and the 2 chamber flows. I like how it sounds. Not really too deep.Really loud!! sounds like an all out race car. IMO flowmasters on v8s sound good for the most part.

and after that i'm going to get either lontubes or just an offroad x pipe. want headers but it's such a pain in the ass to put them on a GT.

Yes they were!!!! We had to unbolt the motor mounts and jack the motor up about 2 inches to get the headers in. Me personally I would just go with the o/r X pipe.

I think all we disconnected was the o2 sensors so we could drop the h pipe out of the way. we did it about 2 years ago can't exactly remember

I must admit a V8 does not need chambered mufflers to sound bad ass. The fact is a set of Dynomax Ultraflows or Magnaflows sound wicked without adding the loud booming sound of Flowmasters especially 2 chambered

I agree, I like the way a V8 sounds, even with stock mufflers.I know another guy that has th Roush side exit kit. I think those are Dynomax? It sounds really good.
