Tremec 3550 and GM Syncromesh

I know you are suppost to run gm syncromesh in these transmissions but the only place around here that has that is the GM dealer and its $15 a quart...Autozone sells Penzoil syncromesh for transmissions, will this work??

its quite possible that Penzoil makes the fluid for GM, go to the dealership, and look over a bottle of it, read all the fine print and see if it has anything from Penzoil on it, it could be the same

its 100% synthetic like the GM stuff
