Well, if you plan on getting gears you definitely want to do that before getting a chip, because the chip can correct the speedo for the gears. But really basically a chip should be one of you final mods, otherwise then you may end up paying for reburns when you get certain mods done. They can run you 100-150 bucks each time you have to get one done. Almost all the major chip makers are now using the SCT chip and programming, you are probably better off to go with one of those. Its become sort of like a standard at least for now, Diablo and any other chip makers are sort of left behind. SCT is Superchips Custom Tuning.
