can you fix curb rash?

my friend has a v6 and he has a set of cobra r rims. they are polised and have curb rash. it isn't that bad. but i was wondering if i could take them somewhere and they fix it. i plan on getting them chromed. after there fixed

So I am thinking that curb rash is from when you hit the curb with your rims. I think that just about any tire and rim shop can buff it out for you. The tire chain in washington state when I was stationed there did it for you.

You might be able to do it with a dremel tool or something and a wire brush attachment or other polishing attachement. I would say depends on how bad it is.

well he doesn'ty want to sell his rims anymore. so it's not a probelm.
