2008 v. 2009 GT 500 value...

If one can get a new one at the same price, ultimately will one car have more resale/collector value than the other? The 08 is the 40th anniversary, but the 09 will be made in less quantity. I'm getting one or the other, or given they made so many is it just irrevlevant. Thanks in advance.

It really wont matter as they are flooding the market with GT500s. They did make a 69 KR, did they make a 68? this might bring a bit more want to them... and if they make enough fewer the 09 will be worth more in the end(like 60 years from now).

My friend waited to get an 09 since he has a 60 gt500 so to him it was worth more to have~

This is a long term investment you are talking about either way. I'd have to put my money on the anniversary model but, if I am wrong, feel free to ask me for the $$$ difference in half a century.

I would have to say anniversary model as well. It will be worth more in 40-50 years.
